The form enforces a reclined position where the legs are elevated above the heart. This promotes circulation, respiration, and digestion, leading to a quicker, more vital sensation. In semi-public spaces, this has gained a leisurely image due to the absence of furniture designed for this purpose. The use of Spacebreak aims to consciously support the act of „putting up your feet“.

Spacebreak is composed of four separable materials. Extruded aluminum profiles are fastened together with injection-molded plastic connectors, forming the frame of the lounger. The textile is held in place by steel rods running on the inside of the profiles.
